Due to the coronavirus situation all meetings & field trips are cancelled until further notice.
For anyone interested in birds, animals, fungi and plants - in particular the wildlife, flowers and vegetation in and around Alnwick, Northumberland.
Founded in 1964, the aims of the society are:
- To encourage an interest in the study of the natural history of the local, national and global environments.
- To help with the conservation of local flora and fauna.
- To maintain local natural history records.
Monthly Field trips are held throughout the year.
Membership (£6 per annum) is open to all interested persons. All meetings are open to non ADNHS members for a fee of £2:50 for indoor and £2:00 for outdoor meetings, unless specifically stated.
